Co-Creativity Club is now in session

A monthly membership for small biz owners looking to find the fun, embrace the chaos, and rediscover who they are.

Hey, I'm Caitlin, and I started Co-Creativity Club in 2022 because I was sick of my whole life being my business.

When faced with the dreaded burnout in 2021, the best tool I found to move out of it was getting back in touch with my creative self. I went back to everything I loved when I was younger, like playing video games, making collages, writing and reading.

I firmly believe we don't embrace our own creativity enough. There's a lot of bullshit people say about being creative, and I want to make one thing very clear...

We are all creative. Yes, even you reading this.

And if you want to factor in more creativity into your life, Co-Creativity Club is here for you.

Creative accountability with zero pressure, with lovely humans for company. It's a space in the week where I know I can relax with like-minded people, have a giggle, and work on something just for me.

How does it work?

CCC is a monthly membership where we get together as a group and create! Join us every Wednesday at 9am GMT and 7pm GMT for 90 minutes of chatting and creating.

I will always start each session with a group chat about what we're all going to be doing during our time together. Everything is welcome here, and we are not an output-based group!

We'll then get right into our creating time. This is done in silence, and you are welcome to keep your camera on or turn it off. I'll also provide a video or playlist of natural ambience to soundtrack your creating. (But of course feel free to pick whatever sounds or music feel good to you!)

Then towards the end of the session, we'll reconvene, share how things have gone, and go on weird and wonderful tangents during our chats.

The vibe of our sessions in one word is INFORMAL. We like to keep it casual around here, and whether you have a wonderful time or struggle to get into the flow, you'll find encouraging words however the time's gone for you.

CCC has become my one non-negotiable in a week of working mum madness and I look forward to it as proper ‘me-time’ every week. I love getting to know the others and seeing what projects their working on and taking inspiration. The gentle accountability of having it diarised is what I need and I love that I’ve tried new things that I don’t think I’d have tried otherwise.

Is CCC for me?

To join CCC, I only ask that you're curious and open-minded - exploring and experimenting is the name of the game here!

You do not have to have a hobby to be a member. The range of activities members have and are undertaking is huge - we make gifts for friends, we read, we tidy up, we potter around, and we sometimes stare into space whilst having a snack. It is all welcome. There's no pressure to achieve anything during our time together.

Having Co-Creativity Club every Wednesday gives me the nudge I need to prioritise the creative activities that make me happier and more fulfilled, relaxed and focused. Since joining, I've definitely noticed that I've been feeling more creative, productive, calm and full of ideas in every area of my life.

Pricing

I firmly believe creativity should be accessible to us all - that's why I now offer 3 tiers of pricing, depending on what you can personally afford.

And because I also believe being creative is a radical act, I'm offering this sliding scale of pricing as a radical act. I trust you to pick the option that best suits you, and I am grateful for the trust you're giving me in return.

Please be assured I will never ask for proof of earnings or anything like that. The membership experience will be exactly the same no matter which tier you pick.

Supported

This is for you if you are on a lower income and cannot currently afford the standard or supporting rate

£10 (4 places available at this rate)

Standard

The standard rate of Co-Creativity Club membership.

£15 (increasing to £20 as of March 1st)

Supporting

This is for you if you can effectively pay it forward. This tier enables me to continue doing the work I do as well as subsidising members who are at lower tiers.

£50

If you are struggling to pick a tier, here's the Green Bottle model by Alexis J Cunningfolk and Britt Hawthorne which should be helpful. And if you have any questions about the pricing structure, please email me, I'd be very happy to chat.

Please note I do not offer refunds, and by signing up, you agree to this. All membership payments are taken monthly on the same day that you sign up.

FAQs

  • Not currently, no. I hope that as the Club expands, I can put on other sessions, but for now, Wednesdays at 9am GMT and 7pm GMT are the only times I offer.

  • You bet.

I obviously hope you love being in Co-Creativity Club, but if you don’t want to continue for any reason, you can cancel at any point.

  • No such thing, my friend.

We all have a spark of creativity within us, as cheesy as that sounds.

But I don’t want that to put you off joining in - creativity doesn’t have to be complicated, elaborate, or expensive.

  • Fire away, friend! Feel free to email me at hello@caitlinthereative.co.uk or DM me on Instagram.
